Sun TV Network Limited has reported revenues for the quarter ended September 2023 (Q2, FY 24) of Rs.1,017.98 cr, up 27.82 pc from Rs.796.43 crores from the corresponding period the previous year.
The Total Income for the quarter was up 27.48 pc at Rs.1,125.08 cr as against Rs.882.54 cr a year ago.
EBITDA for the quarter moved up by 36.48 pc at Rs.716.21 cr against Rs.524.78 cr for the quarter ended September 2022.
Profit before taxes for the current quarter also grew by 13.88 pc to Rs.608.24 cr against Rs.534.09 cr in the same quarter last year.
Profit after taxes was higher by 13.86 pc at Rs.456.24 cr as against Rs.400.71 in the quarter ended September 2022.
The network operates satellite television channels in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bangla and Marathi, airs FM radio stations across India and owns the SunRisers Hyderabad Cricket Franchise of the Indian Premier League, SunRisers Eastern Cape of Cricket South Africa’s T20 League and OTT platform Sun NXT.
