Chennai: Industry veteran and former CEO of India TV has joined the Chennai based Media giant Sun TV Network to oversee and drive the revenue growth prospect of the Network Channels across four South Indian languages Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
Apparently, Paritosh has assumed the new assignment with Sun TV Network starting from yesterday (6th March) and he will be shuttling between Mumbai and Chennai equally. He left India TV as CEO in August 2016 and in this new assignment he will be working towards increasing the revenue generation capabilities of the network channels.
Out of 34 Channels Sun TV Network has a mix of GEC and Non GEC Channels and the sales force of the network was also structured accordingly. Now, Paritosh is likely to act as Strategic consultant who will be guiding both GEC and Non GEC network channel’s sales teams towards better realisation of revenues.
Paritosh Joshi commands more than three decades of experience in Brand Portfolio, Advertising, Media & Broadcast sector in Indian and South Asia. He is also specialised in Consumer Product and Service Sales and Marketing, Business Negotiation, Team leadership and motivation, Goal setting and budgeting, Vision articulation.
In his career graph he was associated with Shop CJ, Star India, Business Standard, ITC Limited, Lintas India and P&G. He also plays mentoring and advisory role in MRUC and served for IBF at pro bono voluntary capacity.
He also played important role during the roll-out of BARC India and supported it by participating in various functions such as mentoring, adversary role, participating in seminars and Road Shows.
He is an alumni of IIM Ahmedabad with graduation in Statistics and Mathematics.
