Ad agency Grey has promoted the country manager for Singapore, Subbaraju Alluri, to lead both the Singapore and Thai offices as area director and CEO.
Alluri’s promotion comes after six months after the departure of Pattarapon Wongmesak, Grey’s associate VP and country manager for Thailand for the last six years.
Alluri has led Grey Singapore as CEO for the last decade.
Grey’s regional boss Nirvik Singh said: “Raju’s aptitude and contribution has been invaluable. I am sure with his leadership and vision, he will transform Grey Group Thailand into becoming the agency of choice.”
Alluri previously worked for Grey in Indonesia. He began his career in advertising as a management trainee at DDB Chennai. He was also had stints at JWT and Rapp Collins.
During his time at Grey Singapore, Alluri has won accounts such as Sentosa Development Corporation, Ministry of Manpower, Contact Singapore, LASALLE College of the Arts, GlaxoSmithKline, Norton, Vitagen, Wyeth, British Council, Al-Maha Airways (Regional) and Qatar Airways (global).
