Chennai: Star Vijay is all set to bring in an entertaining package of shows and movie premiere on the 75th year of the Independence Day celebration on 15th August 2021.
The day starts with a special show, ‘Pattimandram’, with Dr Gnana Sambandham as a moderator and a few most eminent & famous faces as speakers. The topic being ‘Suthanthira Porattathil perum pangu vagithathu Aangala? Pengala? (Who contributed the most during the freedom fight; Men or Women).
At 10:30 am, the channel will telecast an exciting show with the actor Nayantara. On the Independence Day special show, DD (Divyadharshini) caught up with the star to discuss her latest movie NETRIKAN and so much more on herself as a person. The show is a wholesome package with song mashups, fun flash mobs, surprise guests and real-life emotional stories.
On this day of celebrations, Neeya Naana debates an exciting topic about ‘Honest people who handed over lost properties to the concerned person vs who had lost it forever. Gopinath hosts the show.
At 3 pm, for the first time on television, Trisha, starring, written, and directed by Thirugnanam, ‘Paramapatham Vilayaatu’ will be aired. 22Hrs Productions produced the movie. This political thriller is Trisha’s 60th film.
