Mohali: With an endeavour to bring sports fans closer to their VIVO IPL heroes and the game, Star Sports today continued the Game Plan In Your City initiative in Mohali. Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) fans from Kimberly Boarding School got a unique opportunity to interact with BarinderSran and IrfanPathan along with AbhishekNayar as a part of the initiative that was launched in Hyderabad last week.
IrfanPathan and AbhishekNayar who are on the Star Sports panel along with JatinSapru, the show anchor for VIVO IPL 2018were joined by Barinder Sran from KXIP for a special episode of Game Plan In Your City where they analyzed the KXIP squad for VIVO IPL 2018 and discussed what the fans can expect from their favourite team from the upcoming season.
Speaking on the sidelines of Game Plan In Your City, Star Sports expert for VIVO IPL 2018, IrfanPathan said, “The new look Kings XI Punjab is one of the teams to beat this season. The team will be led by the experienced R. Ashwin and with the acquisition of KL Rahul, MayankAgarwal, Andrew Tye, Sran along with the other players, the KXIP fans can finally hope to end their wait for an IPL trophy. The enthusiasm amongst the fans even before a month to start the tournament is encouraging and this initiative by Star Sports is bound to add to the fans’ excitement.”

Promising to make VIVO IPL a six-month fiesta, Star Sports will travel to New Delhi, Jaipur, Chennai, Mumbai and Bangalore next after mesmerizing Hyderabad and Mohali fans. The telecast of ‘Game Plan in your City’ shows will begin next month and fans will be able to enjoy the episodes in Hindi as well as English.
The show will be telecast on Star Sports HD 1, Star Sports 1, Star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports First starting 10th March onwards at 9:00 am every weekend.In the lead-up to the tournament, Star Sports will bring 60 hours of dedicated programming per month featuring a daily dose of proprietary shows such as Game Plan, Cricket Countdown and Franchise specific episodes.
