Mumbai: Taking a leap to jump in to a new storyline was an age old technic adopted by the fiction show makers to boost the interest level of the audience audience by means of adding freshness in many aspects to break the monotony of an ongoing show.
One of the most watched shown on Star Plus, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein that is being aired on every Monday to Saturday at 7:30 PM, is all set to go international as the show takes a leap of one and a half years. The initial episodes of the leap will be shot in Budapest. The show will also witness new characters.
A close source to the production said that this leap was slated last year but didn’t go through due to unknown reasons. This year, the production and channel took a collective decision to take a leap on the show. While the creative team is concentrating on the new storyline, the logistics team is currently in Budapest locking shooting locations and stay for the actors and crew members.
The new story will involve a romantic track between the existing characters in backdrop of Budapest
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is a creation of Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms Ltd. and it was launched in December 2013 and it has completed 1300 episodes. The show stars Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel as the lead pair.
