Mumbai : Star India won the prestigious GIANTS International Awards for excellence in electronic media in a felicitation ceremony held at Mumbai this week.
‘G I A N T S’, the acronym and stands for Generosity, Integrity, Action, Nobility, Truthfulness and Service that functions with an objective promote unity. Harmony, homogeneity and self-discipline among the members through the bonds of friendship and fellowship and promote high ethical standards in business and professions and also to create greater awareness among business and professionals about their responsibilities and obligations towards the community and the country.
Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar attended the 43rd anniversary and awards ceremony of Giants International, an international service organization, at the Trident on Wednesday. Other personalities like Nana Chudasama and Shaina NC were also present at the event.
Star India CEO Mr. Uday Shankar accepted the prestigious award on behalf of the Country’s leading Media network and thanked the organisers for the acknowledgement.
Every year, GIANTS Felicitates prominent personalities who have contributed immensely to the society in the field of business and industry, education , medicine, journalism, films, music, sports and social services.
Parrikar said one should be proud of knowledge that India has given to the world even as he encouraged the audience to work towards “immortality.”
