Mumbai: Star Bharat has emerged has the leader of the HSM Urban 2+ market for the first time. According to the data from BARC for week 14, Star Bharat was topping the charts with 144 GRP in HSM Urban 2+ market for the first time, followed by Star Plus and Colors with 142GRP each. Apparently Star Plus has surged from 137 GRP in week 13 while Colors has dropped down from 157GRP in the previous week.
Star Bharat was also leading the HSM (U+R) (MF 15+) Market with 137 GRP followed by Zee Anmol with 127 GRP.
In HSM Urban 2+ market Zee TV has shown a progress from 127 GRP to 131 GRP this week. Sony TV’s GRP has dropped from 145 GRP to 112 GRP in week 14 when compared with week 13. Scoring 115 this week SAB TV stands at the 5th place and &TV has managed to retain its score of 52 GRPs. Star Utsav occupies the 8th position with 71GRP. Sony Pal has garnered 87 GRP and Zee Anmol has scored 65 GRP. Rishtey with 52 GRP stands at the 11th position. Big Magic with 31 GRP is placed at the 12th place.
Taking a close view of the Star Bharat’s performance in other markets, it stands at No.3 position in the HSM (Urban) Markets (MF 15+) retaining its week 13 GRP of 144. Colors is seen in the No.2 position with 148 and Star Plus with 149 continues to lead the market.
In the HSM Urban (MF 15+) market,comedy drama shows like Kya Haal Mr Panchal telecasted weeknights at 8pm time band garnering 1.8 TVR has paved the way Star Bharat’s progress in ratings in week 14. Other shows Jiji Maa aired in the channels 7.30PM time band (1.3 TVR) and the flagship show Nimki Mukhia (1.7 TVR) has played major roles for the Star Bharat’s achievement.
