The channel initiated the festivities on January 21st with a captivating prelude from Karnataka, featuring acclaimed artists such as Sangeetha Vidya Nidhi Vidyabhushana, Vidhwan KL Srinivasan, the mesmerizing Ramayana in Yakshagana and many other performances. Adding to the allure, MS Subbulakshmi’s grand daughter, Aishwariya Soundarya, delivered a soul-stirring performance of MS Subbulakshmi’s Ram bhajans.
January 22nd – A Day of Multifaceted Offerings
The grandeur continued on January 22nd, commencing early morning with a live broadcast from the Kanchi Kamakshi Temple Ram Ayodhya Celebrations, led by FM Nirmala Sitharamanji. Sri Sankara TV set an impressive stage inside the temple, featuring a grand 12-feet standing idol of Lord Ram, Sita, Lakshmana, and Hanuman.
The monumental day unfolded in the presence of the Finance Minister, accompanied by various artists, including Padmashri Sudha Raghunathan and singers performing Pancharatna Keertis. The channel captured the Prana Prathishtana moment live from Ayodhya, followed by the Prime Minister’s motivating speech.
Throughout the day, Sri Sankara TV engaged viewers with various kandams through discourses, dance dramas, Namasankeertanam, and Abhang Bhajans.
