As part of this collaboration, Amagi will serve as Sports Studio’s technology, content, and monetization partner, providing cloud streaming and distribution solutions to enhance the reach of sports content across multiple platforms. The partnership will facilitate the seamless distribution of Free Live Sports, making it easier for fans to discover their favorite sports channels.
By leveraging Amagi’s advanced cloud technology, Sports Studio aims to empower sports rights holders to connect with their audiences across the FAST ecosystem. Additionally, Sports Studio will offer full-service channel creation and operations, enabling rights holders to monetize their content effectively without needing in-house capabilities.
Currently, Free Live Sports boasts 120 dedicated FAST channels, including 40 premium sports channels powered by Amagi, making it one of the largest collections of FAST sports content worldwide.
