SPNI to shut down AXN and AXN HD from 30th June 2020

Mumbai: Sony Pictures Network India Private Limited announced the discontinuation of their English cluster channels, AXN and AXN HD.

Medianews4u.com has accessed a copy of the letter that was written by Anuj Yadav, Associate Vice President- Distribution Operations, SPNI to all DPOs which read, “We will be discontinuing the operations and transmission of our channels AXN and AXN HD- Genre: General Entertainment Channel (English) w.e.f. the midnight of June 30, 2020.”

These are indeed turbulent times for the broadcast industry and its really sad to see the end of a legacy brand from the house of SPNI.
