Mumbai: Span Communications, a leading, full service advertising agency has now ventured into content creation for OTT platforms.
With the mobile boom and the access to a wide world of online media, has come the era of binge watching. Audiences across age groups are today voraciously consuming online content in the form of videos and blogs. This has led to the rise of ‘web-series’, which has in its own capacity revolutionised Global Media Industry.
Co-created in association with Trickster, the first series from Span Communications is called “Japani Toy’ which is a huge success and can be streamed on the biggest Bengali entertainment platform Hoichoi.

The company, which has in the past shown its mettle in content creation for advertising has consciously chosen the more mature Bengali audience for their first venture into digital storytelling. The success of this series shall definitely be treated as a go-ahead for many more such series, breaking the regional barrier.
