New Delhi: Delhi SG Pipers has announced Somany Ceramics as its associate sponsor for the upcoming edition of the Hockey India League (HIL), marking a significant partnership ahead of the league’s much-anticipated return after a seven-year hiatus.
As part of this collaboration, Somany Ceramics will feature prominently on the collars of the men’s and women’s team jerseys, symbolizing a shared commitment to excellence and innovation.

The Delhi SG Pipers team boasts a formidable roster, including Olympic medalists Jarmanpreet Singh, Rajkumar Pal, and Shamsher Singh. Legendary Indian goalkeeper PR Sreejesh has been appointed as Director of Hockey, while former India men’s national team coach Graham Reid takes charge of the men’s squad. The women’s team will be coached by Dutch tactician Dave Smolenaars.

The sixth edition of the Hockey India League is set to take place from December 28, 2024, to February 1, 2025, in Rourkela and Ranchi, featuring eight men’s and four women’s teams.
