Bengaluru: Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) has engaged Social Panga as its digital agency to extend digital solution and promote Karnataka as a preferred tourist destination. The agency’s Bengaluru office will work with the Department of Tourism (DoT) and KSTDC, to fulfil the department’s digital promotion requirements.
The mandate will cover the management of Karnataka Tourism’s social media channels and will focus on implementing strategies that aim to both modernize its digital infrastructure and increase tourist footfall in the state.
“We partnered with Social Panga with the idea to use their expertise to roll out digital campaigns in an effective manner. We believe that digital media will be a preferred medium for content consumption in coming future & we will benefit from this partnership in promoting the State’s attractions that are closest to people’s hearts. We look forward to working with Social Panga & very excited about this partnership”, said Kumar Pushkar, Managing Director at KSTDC. It may be noted that KSTDC has been mandated by Department of Tourism to manage its website as well as digital and social media.

The Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, was established in 1974 and is vested with the responsibility to develop and promote Karnataka Tourism. The Department continuously endeavors to promote Karnataka Tourism by developing new tourism destinations, foster new tourism projects and by participating in national and international tourism trade fairs, investors’ meet, road shows, theme campaigns, etc.
