The social audio app Clubhouse has announced its first employee in India, Parijat Kaushik as Head of Partnerships.
Kaushik joined Clubhouse from TikTok where he was working as South Asia Marketing Lead for TikTok & Resso. He joined TikTok in 2019 as Associate Director – Entertainment Marketing & Partnerships, where he was leading the marketing & partnerships for TikTok India – focused on creating synergy with the entertainment industry across Movies, TV, Music, Live IPs and Sports. He was responsible for structuring large impact marketing initiatives for Brand TikTok in association/partnership with media and entertainment stakeholders and driving content, marketing and growth campaigns for Brand TikTok across Movies, TV, Music, Live IPs and Sports sectors.
He has worked with Hungama as Marketing Lead, where he was responsible for brand Management for Hungama Music app (music streaming), Hungama Play app (video streaming) and the Hungama Corporate Brand.
In his career span of 17 years, Kaushik has worked with Sony Music Entertainment, the E18 division of Network18, Gitanjali Gems Ltd etc.
