Mumbai: ShemarooMe, the OTT video streaming platform from the house of Shemaroo Entertainment, today announced its partnership with IndiBox – a Google certified set-top box. IndiBox is a set-top box from PT Telkom Indonesia (persero) Tbk (Telkom) – a leading player in Telecommunication Industry in Indonesia and provides OTT services using Google’s Android TV Operating System. With this association, ShemarooMe will be entertaining over 7Mn Indonesian households with a wide array of multilingual, multi genre content.
The alliance will see an exclusive tie-up with IndiBox, which will elevate ShemarooMe’s vast Bollywood content catalog on their platform. PT Metra-net as a subsidiary of Telkom and as an operating partner as well will procure the Bollywood content from ShemarooMe on an exclusive basis for the IndiBox Service. Currently, ShemarooMe is available for customers in the basic pack of Indibox but soon users will be able to upgrade the basic pack to ShemarooMe Add on & Pre embed SVOD pack and have access to more varied content.
