New Delhi: After the success of the past three consecutive years, Shemaroo Entertainment is back again this year with the live streaming of Jagannath Puri Rath Yatra across all its digital platforms. The uniqueness of this year’s live streaming will be the addition of Hindi commentary that will enable virtual devotion to a much wider audience across the world. The Hindi commentary will be available only on the digital platforms that are owned or managed by Shemaroo.
This much anticipated religious event will be live-streamed directly from the Jagannath temple in Puri, Odisha, and will be available through Shemaroo’s Telco and DTH partners such as Tata Sky, Airtel, and Dish TV and its digital platforms such as ShemarooMe mobile app, its website, Shemaroo Bhakti mobile app, its Facebook page and YouTube channel, at no extra cost.
This is the second year in a row that the world’s biggest chariot festival, Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra is being conducted without full-scale participation of the public at large due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, just because you cannot physically be there, does not mean you have to miss out on the enthusiasm. You can enjoy the darshan and seek Lord Jagannath’s blessings from the comfort of your home on Shemaroo digital platforms through your mobile phone, laptop, Smart TV, or tablet.
The live streaming is available until 23rd July on the below Shemaroo owned properties and will stream the Bahuda Yatra on 20th July from 3 pm to 7 pm followed by the Sunabesha on 21st July from 5 pm to 10 pm and the final NiladriBije on 23rd July from 3.30 pm to 9 pm on the last day of the procession.
