Mumbai : Colors is set to launch a new fiction show Ishq Ka Rang Safed in its evening time band from 10th August 2015 at the 6.30 pm time slot.
Ishq Ka Rang Safed on Colors will replace the existing show Shastri Sisters, which was launched during July 2014. The Channel has announced the same in its on-air promos and a formal announcement in this regard is expected shortly.
Ishq Ka Rang Safed is being produced by Filmfarm, the production house which made one of the popular TV show in Colors, Uttaran.
The story of Ishq Ka Rang Safed on Colors is about the love of a boy Biplab for Dhaani, a widow, and is set in the backdrop of the Benares, which is known for the people, who ardent followers of Hindu Religion, Culture, Tradition and rituals. The show stars Mishal Raheja and debutant actress Eisha Singh.
The show produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms Shastri Sisters was launched at 7:00 PM time slot with much of expectation around same time last year but the show was struggling to pump up in the rating charts.
Colors had rescheduled Shastri Sisters from 7.00 pm to 6.30 pm during May this year. The Channel sources also confirm that the channel Fixed Point Chart (FPC) might witness one or two more changes in couple of months down the line.
