India: This Valentine’s Day, ShareChat, the social networking platform designed for India’s internet users, has launched the #loveyourlingo campaign to reignite netizen’s love for their mother language.
The #loveyourlingo campaign invites netizens to express and share their love for the mother tongue that connects them with their roots. Based on the philosophy that one’s own native language is the best medium to express the feelings and thoughts and comes straight from the heart, ShareChat encourages netizens to express their views and also a present tribute to their love for language this Valentine’s Day.
As part of the campaign, ShareChat has incorporated social experiments to gauge citizen’s awareness of the various languages and dialects spoken in the country.
With 22 official languages, India is a diverse country. ShareChat, Indian’s only non-English social media platform, has been instrumental in bringing the masses onboard who never had the opportunity to express themselves on the internet platform in their native language.
The 10-day campaign is aimed at driving the conversations on the love for language and infuse the pride for the mother tongue, bringing the India out of every Indian.
