Mumbai: SBI General Insurance has named Naveen Chandra Jha as the new MD & CEO on State Bank of India’s nomination. He succeeds Shri Kishore Kumar Poludasu.
Naveen Chandra Jha joined State Bank of India in 1994, holding key positions. Before SBI General Insurance, he was Deputy Managing Director at SBI and Chief General Manager of Amaravati Circle, Andhra Pradesh.
Naveen Chandra Jha, with over 30 years in banking, has extensive experience in various key roles like Branch Management, Credit and Risk Management focusing on SME Credit, HR & Administration, and Retail Banking. Proficient in roles including Regional Manager, Deputy General Manager (CDS), Deputy General Manager (Cadre Management), General Manager of Network, and Chief General Manager of the Circle.
While leading the Amaravati Circle, he achieved top performance, contributed significantly to business growth, and received recognition for exceptional service by joining the Chairman’s Club as a Branch Manager in 2005 and becoming a Regional Manager in 2015.
