New Delhi: Bal Raksha Bharat (Save the Children, India), a prominent child welfare organization, has appointed Santanu Chakraborty as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 18, 2024. He succeeds Sudarshan Suchi in this role.
Santanu brings over 25 years of experience in child rights, development, and humanitarian response. He has dedicated thirteen years to Bal Raksha Bharat, working at both field and national levels. His commitment to advancing children’s rights and addressing the needs of the most vulnerable is well recognized. Santanu is particularly noted for his strategic decision-making, program development, and ability to foster partnerships.
