Mumbai: Results of the 2020 edition of India’s biggest awards for digital-content, Talentrack Awards, have just been announced. Talentrack Awards, established in 2017, recognise and felicitate the brands & individuals who have done outstanding work in digital-content ecosystem. The 4th edition of Talentrack Awards received entries from over 400 participants across India, including leading OTT platforms, top production houses, filmmakers, ad agencies, content producers and some of the best known faces of Bollywood. The evaluations were undertaken by a Grand Jury comprising industry leaders and critics of creative work. Some of the names on the Jury panel were Sweta Agnihotri (Reliance Entertainment), Abhishek Banerjee (Casting Bay), Rashi Goel (Nestle), Sidharth Jain (The Story Ink), Ashwin Sanghi (Bestselling Author) and Uday Sodhi (Kurate Digital).
Saif Ali Khan received the ‘Best Actor – Multi-season Performance’ award for his outstanding work in Sacred Games. In the Drama/Thriller category, ‘Best Actor’ award went to Manoj Bajpayee for The Family Man and to Jennifer Winget for Code M, while in the Music/Comedy category, the winners were Sayani Gupta for Four More Shots Please and Divyenndu for Shukranu. Kareena Kapoor Khan won the ‘Digital Icon of the Year’ award for her hugely successful show What Women Want. Gaurav Kapur won the ‘Best Anchor’ award for the second consecutive year for his sports talk show Breakfast with Champions and the other winner in the same category was Samdish Bhatia for ScoopWhoop Unscripted. Leading content producers and agencies including ZEE5, ALTBalaji, MX Player, Times Internet, PTC Network, Hungama Play, Magnon Group and Pocket Aces bagged some of the most coveted honours. YouTubers Prajakta Koli and Ajey Nagar were awarded the ‘Digital Influencer of the Year’ trophy.

Ashish Sharma won the ‘Best Actor – Jury Choice’ award for his work in Modi: Journey of a Common Man. “It is my absolute pleasure to receive this acknowledgement of my efforts from Talentrack. I am really humbled and honoured, thanks to the jury and to Vineet for this platform that recognises digital content and its contributors,” said a delighted Ashish. Sharing their excitement, the dynamic duo, Raghu & Rajiv expressed, “It’s a proud moment for us to be awarded the ‘Digital Jodi of the Year’ by Talentrack. We enjoyed creating and hosting Skulls & Roses and this award is the sweet cherry to top off the experience.”
In today’s streaming era where digital content is being produced at an unprecedented pace, there is fierce competition for the viewers’ attention and approval of critics. Over the last four years, the Talentrack trophy has become the most sought-after recognition in the digital-content space.
