Mumbai: FincFriends, the captive non-banking financial company (NBFC) of the digital lending platform RupeeRedee, has appointed Artem Andreev as its new Chief Executive Officer. His appointment aims to streamline the company’s operations, expand its product portfolio, and strengthen its commitment to building a financially inclusive ecosystem.
Artem brings over 20 years of experience in financial services and fintech, with deep expertise in digital lending, product development, and credit portfolio management. He joined FincFriends in 2021 as Country Head, alongside Digital Finance International, where he played a crucial role in democratizing access to credit for customers unable to access traditional financial institutions. His new role as CEO further reinforces his dedication to providing accessible lending solutions across India, particularly through small-ticket loans that help individuals build their credit scores.
“I am elated to take on the role of CEO at FincFriends at a pivotal juncture,” said Artem Andreev. “Together with our experienced team, I look forward to aligning with the RBI’s framework by adopting a more measured approach to growth, streamlining operations, and creating more personalized solutions for our diverse customer base.”
Under Artem’s leadership, FincFriends is poised to expand its offerings, focusing on more diverse loan products and leveraging technology to make lending more accessible and affordable. Over the next 12-18 months, RupeeRedee plans to not only grow its business but also close the gap in financial access, empowering individuals and businesses to improve their financial lives.
Before joining FincFriends, Artem held leadership positions at OTP Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, and VTB, where he successfully built strong management teams, launched businesses, and led digital transformation initiatives across the APAC region.
