Ruder Finn has promoted Shruti Das to the role of Technology Lead for Asia. Ruder Finn’s Technology practice has been growing rapidly, both globally and in Asia, with an increasingly impressive roster of clients, including global tech companies and start-ups. To support this momentum, Ruder Finn saw the need for senior client stewardship to accelerate the regionalization of the practice in ways that benefit both current and future clients.
A Ruder Finn Delhi employee for more than five years, Shruti will be an integral part of the global technology team and will assist in streamlining information sharing with Ruder Finn in US, Europe, South East Asia and China. Working closely with Robin Kim, Executive Vice President, Managing Director of Global Technology, and with the Technology team in the US and Europe, Shruti will centralize information and leverage expertise from across the network, as well as impart her diverse experience in the tech sector to colleagues to strengthen the practice in Asia.
Shruti brings with her more than 13 years’ experience in promoting and protecting technology brands and corporate reputation for industry leaders. She joined Ruder Finn India in 2010 and has been instrumental in developing expertise within the Ruder Finn technology team to leverage trending topics such as Cloud adoption, digitization of countries and Smart Cities. With this knowledge pool and smart storytelling techniques, the Ruder Finn team has helped clients across sectors to transform, using technology at its core. Shruti has been able to grow client mandates across the region and has kept attrition to zero in this sector, with some relationships spanning the five years since the inception of Ruder Finn India. In recent months, the team has worked with diverse clients including Cisco, USGBC (US Green Building Council), edX (a MooC provider, founded by Harvard and MIT), Barracuda (a storage and Security solutions company) and IEEE, to ride the wave of Digitization and Smart Cities in India. Shruti has also managed communication mandates for major organisations including Microsoft, Oracle, NetApp, Google, Cisco and Airtel.
