Mumbai: With experience in radio, television and print for over a span of 12 years, Rohit Bhatnagar has been appointed as Entertainment Editor by The Free Press Journal. FPJ is an English daily published from Mumbai, Indore, Bhopal and Kolkata, New Delhi and Chennai.
Rohit Bhatnagar is known for his passion for films and telling stories with sensitivity. He studied Bachelors of Journalism and Mass Communication from Institution of Management & Science, Noida and moved to Mumbai in 2009 to pursue his Masters in Broadcast Journalism. He has also done Diploma in News Anchoring, Radio Jockeying and Production from Delhi Film Institute.
In 2010, Rohit was a part of a reality show Lift Kara De backed by YRF and aired on Sony TV which was hosted by popular director-producer Karan Johar. He also appeared with Rani Mukerji and Simi Grewal on chat show India’s Most Desirable aired on Star World in 2011. In 2016, Rohit also tried his hands on acting and was seen in Viacom’s production Baaraat Company alongside Sandeepa Dhar, Anuritta Jha and television actor Vishal Karwal etc. but didn’t pursue it full time due to his writing commitments.
Earlier, he has worked with brands like B4U Music, Red Chillies Productions, CNN-IBN, Rajshri Entertainment, E24, Viacom 18, Deccan Chronicle and Mumbai Mirror. He has also been awarded by Celebrity Journalist by Expandables Awards 2017, the only awards to felicitate stalwarts in India media industry.
