Google has appointed Richa Jasuja as the Social Insights & Measurement Lead for India, marking a significant addition to its team. Richa previously served as the Assistant Director of Brand & Marketing at EY.
She announced her new role on LinkedIn, stating, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Social Insights & Measurement Lead (IN) at Google!”
With over 13 years of experience in social media and analytics, Richa brings a wealth of expertise to her new position. Before her time at EY, she led Social Intelligence at Zee Entertainment from 2020 to 2022. Her career also includes key roles at Essence, where she worked from 2017 to 2020, and a stint as Director of Strategy – Listening & Insights at Autumn Worldwide in 2017.
Earlier in her career, Richa served as Senior Manager of Social Listening & Insights at IPG Mediabrands from 2014 to 2017 and began her professional journey as a Digital Marketing Manager at Kings XI Punjab in 2011.
In her new role at Google, Richa will leverage her strategic approach to social media, focusing on market intelligence and driving business outcomes. Her skills encompass data analysis, content strategy, audience engagement, and cross-team collaboration, positioning her to make a significant impact in enhancing Google’s social media insights.
This appointment underscores Google’s commitment to strengthening its analytics capabilities and driving innovative solutions in the digital landscape. Richa’s extensive background will play a crucial role in shaping the company’s social media strategy in India.
