According RAM Ratings of week 41 for the four Indian metros for the period between October 4th to 10th, the tug-of-war for the top spot in Mumbai continues as Big FM displaced previous week’s leader Radio City. Big FM had 17.4 percent market share in Mumbai.
Mumbai
In Mumbai market, Big FM claimed the throne with 17.4 per cent of listenership pie and last week’s topper Radio City slipped to second spot with 16.9 per cent shares.
Fever FM remained at third position with 14.9 per cent of total market shares. Radio Mirchi and Red FM occupied fourth and fifth position with 14.3 and 10.4 per cent of listenership pie, respectively.
Big FM’s Suhana Safar with Anu Kapoor occupied the top spot in the list of top shows, followed by Radio City’s Kal Bhii Aaj Bhi with RJ Gaurav and Big FM’s Breakfast Show with RJ Siddharth.
New Delhi
Fever FM topped the chart once again in Delhi with 19.6 per cent of total market shares, followed by Radio Mirchi with 14.3 per cent shares.
Big FM climbed to third position with 12.7 per cent of listenership pie, while Radio City slipped to fourth spot with 11.6 per cent shares. Red FM remained at fifth spot with 10.8 per cent of total market shares.
Fever FM’s Evening Drive with RJ Nitin and Dilli ke Do Dabang with RJ Manu and Abhilash occupied the top two spots in the list of top shows, followed by Zara Si Life with RJ Rhicha Vyas.
Kolkata
With 19.5 per cent of listenership pie, Radio Mirchi led the chart once again in Kolkata. Big FM and Fever FM stood at second and third position with 15.1 and 13.7 per cent of total market shares.
Aamar FM occupied fourth spot with 10.3 per cent of listenership pie, followed closely by Oye FM with 10.2 per cent shares.
Radio Mirchi’s Kaali Kotha with RJ Jaganath and Radio Mirchi’s Breakfast show with RJ Mir, bagged the top two positions in the list, whereas Big FM’s Breakfast Show with RJ Khas occupied the third spot.
Bangalore
Among the Bangalore FM radio players, Radio City maintained its lead position with 22.7 per cent of total market shares, followed by Big FM with 21.5 per cent shares.
Radio Mirchi stood at third spot with 16.9 per cent of listenership pie and Fever FM occupied fourth position with 14.3 per cent shares. Red FM remained at fifth spot with 5.8 per cent of listenership pie.
Big FM’s Big Coffe with RJ Shruti led the chart among the highest rated shows, followed by Radio City’s City Mathu with RJ Rachna and Fever FM’s Fever Flashback with RJ Rubina.
