Mumbai: Rajneet Singh Kohli has resigned from his role as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Britannia Industries, according to a recent filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Kohli, who had been with the company for a transformative period, will be stepping down to pursue new opportunities outside of Britannia.
In its filing, the company stated: “Pursuant to Regulation 30 read with Clause 7 of Para A of Schedule III of the SEBI Listing Regulations, 2015, this is to inform you that Mr. Rajneet Singh Kohli (DIN: 09743554), Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, has submitted his resignation on 5th March 2025 to pursue an opportunity outside Britannia.”
Kohli, a seasoned industry leader with nearly three decades of experience across FMCG, CPG, retail, and digital transformation, has played a crucial role in Britannia’s growth and innovation. Under his leadership, the company underwent significant transformations, strengthening its capabilities in people development, partnerships, and embracing cutting-edge technologies like digital and AI.
Before joining Britannia, Kohli had a distinguished career at Domino’s, where he served as President and Chief Business Officer. His career also includes stints at Coca-Cola and Asian Paints, where he gained valuable insights into consumer goods and business strategy.
Commenting on Kohli’s resignation, Varun Berry, Executive Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Britannia Industries, said, “Rajneet Singh Kohli has decided to resign from the services of the company to pursue an external opportunity.
