Chennai : Leading Tamil Entertainment Channel Raj TV Network has lined up a slew of special offering on the occasion of 69th Independence day.
As a part of its Independence Day Celebration, The Channel is airing Mudhalvan Awards 2015, a special award function to the district toppers of 10th & 12th students. Mudhalvan Awards 2015 was held on 25th July 2015 at Rani Seethai Hall in Chennai.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program and its mission to bring qualitative changes in the lives of the under privileged and deserving people of Tamil Nadu, Raj TV conducts an event to honour the school level academic toppers of every year with Mudhalvan Awards. Raj TV has instituted Mudhalvan Awards in the year 1999 in an efforts to acknowledge the budding talents who excel in academics.
In addition to Mudhalvan Awards, Raj TV has also lined up the Grand Finale of Raja Geetham Season-6, which was hosted by the most popular stage personality Mr. Abdul Hameed.
It is a singing talent hunt and the tough competition between the 6 contestants. The Grand Title winner of Raja Geetham Season 6, which was held on 9th August 2015 at Chennai Kamaraj Hall, will be revealed in this program.
The Chief Guest of Raja Geetham was Padma Vibhusan Bala Murali Krishna, who was honored with ‘Life Time Achievement Award’ by Raj TV, and the function is also for “A Tribute to the Legend M.S.Viswanathan together with the dignitaries.
While the Mudhalvan Awards 2015 will be aired at 11 AM, the Grand Finale of Raja Geetham 6 will be aired at 5 PM on the Independence Day 15th of August.
