Chennai : Raj Television Network Ltd., the second pioneer satellite TV network in south India is entering into 22nd year of its operations. While focusing on delivering our top quality entertainment all these years, the channel also took pride to be involved in some of the key social issues in the state of Tamil Nadu.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program and its mission to bring qualitative changes in the lives of the under privileged and deserving people of Tamil Nadu, Raj TV conducts an event to honour the school level academic toppers of every year with Mudhalvan Awards.
Raj TV has instituted Mudhalvan Awards in the year 1999 in an efforts to acknowledge the budding talents who excel in academics and is set to honour the top academic topper of this year in Mudhalvan Award 2015.
Mudhalvan Awards 2015 will the Seventeenth year in succession for Mudhalvan Awards in the 22 years of Raj TV’s successful existence and it will have many dignitaries like Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Shri. Jual Oram, Minister of State for Agriculture Shri. Mohanbhai Kundariya, Madras High Court Judge Justice N. Kirubakaran, Chief Election Commissioner Dr Sandeep Saxena IAS, Higher Education Member Secretary Dr Karu Nagarajan and Entrepreneur Mr V.G.P. Ravidoss.
The award ceremony will recognize, honour and felicitate the District level toppers of 10th and 12th standard students of Tamil Nadu State Board Examinations.
The District Student Toppers along with their parents are brought to Chennai and apart from the medal we also provide them a chance to get a better perspective of the metropolitan city of Chennai. The entire expense of the toppers and their parents will be borne by Raj TV.
Mudhalvan Awards 2015 will be held on 25th July 2015 at Rani Seethai Hall in Chennai, the award function will also has a cultural and entertainment activity that starts at 4:00 pm, followed by the award distribution ceremony at 6:01 PM and the Televised event will be aired at a later date.
