Raghav Bahl has resign as Managing Director from Quint Digital Media on Wednesday. Bombay Stock exchange provided the information that Bahl will continue to serve as a non-executive promoter director on the Board of Quint Digital.
The statement said, “In terms of the Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, (the “LODR Regulations”), we would like to inform you that Mr. Raghav Bahl has resigned as the Managing Director of the Company w.e.f. closure of business hours of December 29, 2020. Further Mr. Raghav Bahl will continue to act as Non-Executive Promoter Director on the Board of the Company.”
Raghav Bahl is an Indian businessman, a serial entrepreneur, and an investor best known for his past ownership of several television channels, including TV18 India. He was the Founding/Controlling shareholder & managing director of Network18 Group. Later he along with his wife Ritu Kapur acquired a controlling stake in a company called Gaurav Mercantiles and merged Quintillion Media’s digital news business. Both hold 66.4 per cent stake in the company. Bahl’s new venture entered a joint venture agreement with Bloomberg L.P. to launch Bloomberg Quint in 2016.
