New Delhi: Radio Nasha in Delhi, on the verge of completing its year one, hosted the coolest retro concert that the city has ever seen with none one than the last Empress, Asha Bhosle. Asha Bhosle performed for live audience in Delhi after almost 7 years. This was her farewell tour and most likely one of her last live performances in Delhi. The concert was held on 25th February 2017, at the Ambience Island grounds in Gurgaon and lasted for close to 3 hours.
The concert was marked with performances by Javed Ali and Mika Singh who accompanied Asha Bhosle in her spectacular performance. The opening act was performed by Javed Ali. Asha Bhosle began the concert with a Lata Mangeshkar song, “Lag Ja Gale” and then proceeded to mesmerize the audience with some of her best melodies including “Chura Liya hai”, “Dil Cheez Kya hai” and “In aankhon ki masti”. The concert ended on a high note with Asha Bhosle, Javed Ali and Mika along with the host RJ Anmol making the audience dance to the tunes of “Monica… Oh my darling!”
