Mumbai : Radio City is all set to observe World Environment Day with an initiative titled ‘Nature hai toh Future hai’, in association with Eureka Forbes. Through various on-air, on-ground and digital activities, Radio City intends on doing its bit for a better future.
As part of the initiative, Radio City RJs will be visiting various societies in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad and Jaipur to promote the idea of conservation of nature.
The Radio City team will engage with residents of societies by encouraging them to clean up their societies, participate in the Art from Waste contest, and planting trees. With the number of cars going up with every minute and with it pollution touching alarmingly high levels, Radio City will be conducting PUC check-ups for the cars.
All the societies that come forward in this noble cause will be duly gratified by Radio City RJs. They will be given a certificate of appreciation along with a glittering trophy acknowledging their effort.
While a lot goes on-ground, Radio City RJs will keep the listeners hooked to their words of wisdom that will invoke the thought of conservation of the environment. In a bid to improve the living surroundings, listeners can ring the Radio City lines during the ‘Nature Sudhaar Lo’ activity and leave a message for others to be implemented.
Connecting with the listeners on the digital front, for World Environment Day, listeners can also share their views and interact with Radio City RJs through the series of posts on the Facebook and Twitter pages. The posts will inform everyone regarding the minor modifications we can make to our lifestyle to have a cleaner and better environment.
