Mumbai: Radio City has launched its innovative ‘Studio on Wheels’ initiative in Prayagraj, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and cleanliness during the grand Mahakumbh Mela. The initiative was ceremoniously flagged off by Honourable Cabinet Minister A.K. Sharma, Mayor of Prayagraj, Commissioner of Nagar Nigam, and UP’s State Minister for Urban Development and Energy, marking a significant step towards a cleaner and greener Mahakumbh.
As the exclusive radio partner for this historic gathering, Radio City’s mobile studio, the ‘Swachhata Rath,’ is set to travel across the city, delivering engaging on-air, on-ground, and digital experiences. The initiative focuses on environmental responsibility, distributing eco-friendly, non-plastic bags to devotees while amplifying the message of cleanliness and sustainability.
Ashit Kukian, CEO, Radio City, expressed enthusiasm for the initiative, stating, “At Radio City, we think that only with innovation can we drive change and promote a cause. Our Studio on Wheels initiative aims to capture the grandeur of Mahakumbh Mela as well as raise awareness regarding sustainable living, city hygiene and set a tone amongst millions of attendees to ensure environmentally friendly practices are followed for a greener future. Along with Nagar Nigam Prayagraj, we are determined to make this experience into a mindful celebration of religious devotion, cultural unity and spiritual rejuvenation.”
