Honda Cars India has appointed Punit Bhatt as its new Head of Advertising and Brand Promotions. Punit, who brings over 14 years of experience in marketing and advertising communications, will spearhead the brand’s advertising strategy and promotional initiatives in India.
Prior to joining Honda Cars India, Punit was the Assistant General Manager at SKODA India, where he played a key role in brand positioning and advertising efforts. Punit has an extensive background in advertising and brand strategy, having worked with several prominent brands across industries. Before his tenure at SKODA India, he was Vice President at Havas from 2019 to 2021, where he led several high-impact campaigns. Between 2014 and 2019, he held the position of Associate Vice President at Publicis Communications, managing several brand communication initiatives.
His earlier career includes roles such as Brand Manager at Hover Automotive India (2013-2014), Brand Strategy Manager at RK SWAMY BBDO (2011-2013), and key positions in brand communications at DDB Mudra and Mudra Communications.
With a proven track record of developing and executing effective advertising strategies across a range of categories, Punit’s expertise lies in strategy, concept, and content development for impactful advertising campaigns. At Honda Cars India, he is set to further strengthen the brand’s presence in the competitive automotive market through innovative advertising and promotions.
