Mumbai: Mashal Sports, organizers of Pro Kabaddi League, confirmed that PKL Season 11 starts October 18, 2024. This marks a new chapter for the world’s premier kabaddi league post the completion of ten successful seasons earlier this year.
In Season 11, Pro Kabaddi League returns to the three-city format: starting at Gachibowli in Hyderabad on Oct. 18, moving to Noida on Nov. 10, and ending in Pune at Balewadi from Dec. 3.
The dates and venue for the Playoffs will be announced at a later date.
Speaking on the announcement of the dates for PKL Season 11, AnupamGoswami, League Commissioner, Pro Kabaddi League said, “We are delighted to announce the start date and venues for PKL Season 11. After successfully completing 10 seasons, PKL Season 11 will mark a new milestone in the continued rise of the league. This would strengthen the growth of Kabaddi in India and elsewhere around the world.”
The Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 Auction was held in Mumbai from 15-16 August 2024, with eight players going for over INR 1 crore, a new record in the league’s history.
Mashal Sports and Disney Star elevated PKL, a successful Indian sports league. Through Mashal’s partnership with AKFI, PKL reshaped Kabaddi’s image globally. The league spurred other countries to bolster their Kabaddi programs after seeing their players’ success in PKL.
