The year 2022 was good for the poultry sector, particularly the processed food segment. The processed food sector in India is one of the most important, accounting for more than 32pc of the total food market. Given the extended shelf life, ease of availability, and product variety, we have witnessed consistent acceptance and demand for processed meat since the pandemic, which has opened new opportunities in this sector.
Consumers’ global exposure has influenced their consumption of processed meat in terms of safety and hygiene. This is just the beginning of a golden time for the food processing industry in India, as we are looking forward for more such advancements in 2023.
There is a huge opportunity that we see in the coming year. Sustained income, growing urban population, changing lifestyles are very positive signs that the adaptability of the category will grow bigger and wider. We have carefully curated our products to satisfy the needs of our customers and make their cooking experience a hassle-free one.
Our motto of offering hygienic meat alternatives to our food enthusiasts has aided our growth journey and we have thus expanded our product portfolio too. We believe that our vast choice of ready-to-cook, and ready-to-eat products aligns with evolving customer preferences.
