Trivandrum: Malayalam GEC Surya TV is set to launch the dubbed version of Historical Fiction Drama Series, Porus starting from 21st January 2019.
The Original version of Porus was produced by Swastik Productions in Hindi and aired on Sony Entertainment Television. The Producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary had retained the IPR of the series for exploitation across global through content distribution and syndication deals.
Porus is a historical drama television series based on the Battle of the Hydaspes, visualizing the lives of Indian warrior and ruler Porus, King of the Pauravas and Alexander The Great, King of the Macedonian Empire. It premiered on 27 November 2017 on Sony TV and concluded on 13th November 2018.
Surya TV has scheduled to air Porus on every Monday to Saturday at 9.30 PM. Porus Malayalam version will be not be available on OTT Platform, SunNXT as the deal between Swastik Productions and Sun TV Network is restricted to Television rights of the show only.
