Porter has unveiled its campaign for the Cricket World Cup, taking from the fact that when it comes to cricket, Indians are very superstitious lot.
The brand film opens to the staff of a guesthouse or lodge gathered around the reception desk watching the world cup match. A delivery from Porter coincides with team India scoring a sixer, and everyone is convinced that the entry of a Porter executive is a good luck charm for the team. The last scene of the film shows a huge group of delivery executives sitting watching the match as the lodge owner keeps ordering stuff, for after all, when it’s a lucky charm, one cannot take a chance.
