New Delhi: PNB MetLife has appointed Sameer Bansal as Managing Director and CEO, effective July 1, 2024, subject to the necessary regulatory approvals.
Sameer will spearhead business growth in a key market for MetLife, overseeing 149 branches in 18,600 locations through bank partnerships with a major bancassurance network in India.
Sameer has 25+ years in financial services with expertise in leading various distribution models. He’s been with PNB MetLife since 2007 as the Chief Distribution Officer and leadership team member.
Sameer succeeds Ashish Srivastava, who has been appointed Managing Director for MetLife Inc.’s Global Shared Services team in India.
