We all know Piyush Pandey the creative genius. I’ve seen the good human. Someone who never says no to anything I’ve asked for.
I remember calling him and saying the BMC was looking for a campaign to promote the use of vaccines during the early stages of the lockdown. “Ok Partner” was all he said. One day later, he was on a Zoom call with me. Harshad and Kainaz were there and they presented a wonderful campaign. Unfortunately we couldn’t use it for other reasons.
I wanted him to do a creative review of the year that was, for the IAA.
Ok Partner.
I wanted him to speak at the IAA pavilion on a beach in Cannes.
Ok Partner.
I wanted him to lend his voice and record for a script I had written after the demise of our mutual friend Pradeep Guha. And I gave him only a few hours to do it.
Ok Partner.
I could go on and on down memory lane and narrate what a fine human being he is.
I’m only glad he’s planning ahead for the institution he’s helped build and he’s running beside the team that’s cycling strongly.
Lage Raho Partner.
