In the nineties, Piyush broke 70 mm cinema and brought it down to the everyday size of 21 inches TV.
He replaced the voice of God with the sound of humanity.
I was fortunate to work closely with Piyush to set up the first challenger agency for Ogilvy in June 2000. We called it ‘David’.
Piyush taught me to trust my judgement, to stand up for my belief, to be a David in the house of Goliaths.
Piyush taught me fearlessness.
Piyush has always been a ‘Chief Advisor’ to me.
He gave me the gift to “always play on the front foot”. And for this I am forever grateful to Piyush.
