Singapore: Omnicom Media Group agency PHD has appointed Eileen Ooi, with 19 years of experience, as CEO, Asia Pacific. Previously CEO at OMG Malaysia, she also led PHD Malaysia for four years as Managing Director before this role.
This appointment demonstrates OMG’s dedication to internal promotion and highlights Ooi’s successful track record in growing businesses through client relationships, innovation, and driving growth. Ooi has led OMG Malaysia to great success, recognized as the Best Performing Media Network by RECMA. The network excelled in new business wins with clients like CelcomDigi and impressive client retentions with HSBC, Beiersdorf, and Wipro Unza, resulting in strong employee engagement scores.
Ooi will lead PHD business operations in APAC, overseeing clients such as Volkswagen Group, CHANEL, Diageo, and Singapore Airlines. Reporting to Tony Harradine, Omnicom’s CEO for APAC, and Guy Marks, PHD Worldwide CEO.
With Ooi’s successor expected to be named in Q4, she will continue to oversee OMG Malaysia as CEO in the interim, ensuring a seamless transition and sustained momentum.
