PepsiCo India has announced a INR 1266 cr investment to establish a modern flavour facility in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, demonstrating its commitment to expanding operations. This 22-acre plant will boost beverage production, create jobs, and benefit the local economy.

The innovative plant reflects PepsiCo’s commitment to scaling operations and positively impacting communities. Aligned with ‘Winning with pep+’ philosophy, it implements cutting-edge technologies for eco-conscious operations.

Aligned with PepsiCo India’s global sustainability goals, the plant will run on renewable energy, reducing carbon footprint by 1.9 metric tons daily. Using Zero Liquid Discharge tech, it targets 90% water efficiency, replenishing all water used.
PepsiCo plans a second flavor plant in Channo, Punjab, to strengthen its India presence and benefit the region socio-economically. Construction starts in 2024, with operations anticipated by early 2026.
