Mumbai: Paytm has been declared as one of the winners at the 64th International Festival of Creativity at Cannes Lions 2017. We are one of only two Indian companies to win this prestigious accolade for our ‘Sweet Change’ campaign.
It is heartening to see that a brand handcrafted in India and loved by millions of Indians is being appreciated on a global stage like Cannes.
The Sweet Change campaign was our effort to gently nudge the average Indian about the convenience of paying on mobile. It was a drop in the ocean in terms of the country’s effort towards making mobile payments relevant to every Indian.
The Cannes Lions Awards celebrates innovation across communications, marketing, entertainment, design and tech and is a true symbol of industry-disrupting work. Held between 17–24th June this year, it was the world’s biggest get-together of people interested in creativity.
