Bengaluru: Global CEO and co-founder Mouli Raman has resigned.
The Bengaluru-based mobile value added services (VAS) provider did not share further details on the reasons for the exit.
Earlier, Arvind Rao, CEO and co-founder, had also stepped down from the company following some controversies. He joined Reliance Jio Infocomm, a 4G LTE service provider promoted by RIL chairman
Mukesh Ambani, and recently resigned.
OnMobile Global says the company made good progress in expanding its global footprint. Client wins for Ringback Tone business in Africa, Asia and Latin America were noteworthy, said OnMobile.
Mouli Raman, on taking over from Arvind Rao, concentrated on providing stability, continuity and focus to the company that he had co-founded.
He has not disclosed his plans.
“He also led the company in laying the groundwork for the next stage of growth with increased focus on people, process and technology,” OnMobile said in a statement.
The VAS vendor, which is facing challenging market conditions in India due to telecom regulatory issues, will announce its new CEO shortly. Raman will continue as CEO till the new person takes over to enable a smooth transition.
OnMobile offers services in 59 countries to over 92 telecom and media customers. With over 1,600 employees worldwide, OnMobile has offices abroad at London, Paris, Madrid, Silicon Valley, Miami and Seattle, among others.
