James Baldwin has been promoted to Ogilvy PR’s Head of Influence, Asia – Pacific. He was most recently positioned as Business Director and B2B Influence Lead, based out of Ogilvy UK.
Based out in Singapore, Baldwin will take charge of the agency’s influence offering across the region. He will report to Rahul Titus, Ogilvy’s Global Head of Influence, and Emily Poon, President of Ogilvy PR in Asia-Pacific.
Prior to Ogilvy PR, Baldwin worked at Ogilvy UK between 2019 and 2024, where he helped brands to enhance their reputation, build awareness, and tap into trusted industry expertise. He also speaheaded the launch of the industry’s first global thought-leadership research in B2B Influence, Influencing Business: The Global Rise of B2B Influencer Marketing—surveying 550 CMOs and marketing leaders across 11 global markets—last September.
Before joining Ogilvy, he associated with The Club Media Limited as Co-Founder and Commercial Director. Previous to this, Baldwin worked for Euromoney Institutional Investor as Client Director – Euromoney B2B Marketing. He was responsible for new business development, client sales and account management.
Prior to his tenure with Euromoney, Baldwin played the role of Junior Portfolio Manager at BRIC Group. Before this, he positioned as New Business Consultant at Marsh Commercial for a short span. Baldwin started his career as Telemarketing Consultant at Quantum Marketing since 2009.
Baldwin brings with him more than 10 years of experience in B2B and Influencer Marketing. He has also played a pivotal role in shaping Ogilvy’s cutting-edge Influencer proposition. Baldwin also led a multi-marketing award-winning Influencer team on some of the illustrious consumer brands such as Coca-Cola, Unilever, British Airways, Samsung, and the Olympic Games. He has also been an integral contributor to Ogilvy’s Annual Influencer Trends since its inception as per the agency.
