Schools aren’t just brick-and-mortar structures and great teachers with the right approach can change the lives of their students in many ways. The heart-warming Video Campaign conceptualized by Chennai-based OPN Advertising for Singapore-based education company XSEED Education depicts this core theme.
The video campaign titled ‘A better way to teach’ portrays the problems with the education system in the country where students sit in rows and mechanically listen and record what is being taught in the classroom with no interactions between the teachers and students. The campaigns point out how conventional methods of education without making the students understand the core concepts and being judgemental towards their learning capacities can negatively impact the students and their thought processes. The campaign delivers a strong message that no students are born as blockheads. It also reminds us that if the students don’t understand what’s being taught, it is not their fault and if a proper foundation is not provided to the students, it will have a negative impact on the future of the students.
The campaign urges to evaluate and change the ways in which students are taught and treated.
