The Coronavirus lockdown in various parts of the country has forced print publishers to stop publishing and distribution of newspapers across the city of Mumbai till the 31st of March 2020.
The online versions of the newspapers will continue to provide news to its readers.
The Times of India Group has stopped publication of all its print editions from Tuesday 24th March until 31st March.
Other than TOI, other newspaper publishers have also stopped publication on Monday to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Hindu, HT and other newspapers too have shut publishing to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
With the suspension of railway services, newspaper vendors have announced that they will not be able to distribute papers. The newspaper distribution will be affected until restrictions on movement are not back to normal.
