Bengaluru: Niyo, a travel banking fintech platform, has launched the #NiyoTravelBreak campaign, a founder-led initiative by CEO Vinay Bagri, to inspire travel enthusiasts to embrace their wanderlust this holiday season. Through this unique campaign, Niyo emphasized the importance of taking a break and exploring the world while showcasing its customer-first approach.
The campaign invited participants to engage on LinkedIn by liking the campaign post, commenting with #NiyoTravelBreak, and filling out a Google form to share why they deserved a travel break. Winners received free flight tickets, visa expenses, and a Niyo card—an essential tool for international travellers to save on expenses like forex charges.
Popular destinations included Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore, Laos, Burma, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Nepal, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, and Mauritius.
The campaign received an overwhelming response, with over 1,000 heartfelt and creative entries from across India. Five winners—Nirupama Vaylay, Jatin Deewan, Hardik Kumawat, Divjyot Kaur, and Tanishka—were announced as recipients of dream travel experiences, marking an unforgettable start to their 2025 journeys.
“Customer-centricity drives everything we do at Niyo, from our products to our marketing initiatives. With #NiyoTravelBreak, we aimed to add meaningful value to our customers’ lives instead of investing in traditional ad campaigns,” said Sushanth Ravikumar, SVP and Head of Marketing and Growth at Niyo.
“At Niyo, we believe in going beyond transactions to build genuine connections with our customers. The #NiyoTravelBreak campaign allowed us to celebrate their passion for travel while showcasing our commitment to making global adventures more accessible and rewarding,” added Smriti Advani, VP, Brand Marketing, Niyo.
Since launching its zero-forex markup credit and debit cards in partnership with banks in 2019, Niyo has expanded its offerings to include insurance, flight and visa bookings, travel services, and outward remittance solutions. With a customer base exceeding 1.5 million, Niyo continues to redefine global travel banking experiences.
